Sparks ✦ are sequins, beads, or rhinestones stitched on top of one specific spot in a design, right over the thread color underneath — a little extra sparkle and dimension a plain cross-stitch can't give on its own. Sparks are provided for some designs, and their use and location are suggested by us — but it's totally up to you!
